Asfar is a non-governmental organization dedicated to contributing to the development and advancement of the education and learning sectors, and to addressing the challenges associated with them—challenges whose impacts may extend to other vital sectors. This is achieved through the preparation and implementation of carefully designed programs, workshops, and strategic plans aimed at reducing the decline of essential sectors, improving overall performance, and strengthening the principles of sustainable development.

The organization also designs and implements a wide range of programs and campaigns in collaboration with official and semi-official institutions to combat violence against women, fight poverty, and reduce school dropout rates. In addition, it works to promote public freedoms and consolidate a culture of citizenship and respect for others, within the scope of available social, political, artistic, and cultural initiatives and activities.
